Geophysical warfare

Among future means of obtaining national objectives by force, one possibility hinges on man’s ability to control and manipulate the environment of his planet. When achieved, this power over his environment will provide man with a new force capable of doing great and indiscriminate damage. Our present primitive understanding of deliberate environmental change makes it difficult to imagine a world in which geophysical warfare is practised. The key to geophysical warfare is the identification of the environmental instabilities to which the addition of a small amount of energy would release vastly greater amounts of energy. Environmental instability is a situation in which nature has stored energy in some part of the Earth or its surroundings far in excess of that which is usual. To trigger this instability, the required energy might be introduced violently by explosions or gently by small bits of material able to induce rapid changes by acting as catalysts or nucleating agents. Effects of releasing this energy could be world-wide, as in the case of altering climate, or regional, as in the case of locally excited earthquakes or enhanced precipitation.

Dur­ing World War II, Win­ston Churchill observed that, in wartime, truth is so pre­cious that it should, at all times, be attended by “a body­guard of lies.” For decades, the United States and U.S.S.R. researched the pos­si­bil­ity of manip­u­lat­ing nat­ural dis­as­ters, includ­ing earth­quakes, as weapons of mass destruc­tion. This type of weaponry was the focus of a treaty between the two super­pow­ers nego­ti­ated in the late 1970s. Yet, despite a grow­ing body of evi­dence that seis­mic weaponry may very well be a fact of life in the late 1990s, offi­cial­dom con­tin­ues to down­play that omi­nous pos­si­bil­ity. This pro­gram explores that evi­dence. In addi­tion to exam­in­ing evi­dence of the exis­tence of seis­mic weapons and/or research into such weapons, the seg­ments high­light the research of Nikola Tesla, who used mechan­i­cal res­o­nance to cause a small earth­quake in New York City in 1896! After dis­cus­sion of a press con­fer­ence given on April 28, 1997 by Defense Sec­re­tary William S. Cohen, in which he says that “ter­ror­ist nations” are cur­rently devel­op­ing means of trig­ger­ing earth­quakes, vol­canic erup­tions and dis­as­trous weather events, the pro­gram reviews some of the his­tory of the Cold War research and devel­op­ment of seis­mic weapons. The broad­cast also touches on the Japan­ese Aum Shinrikyo’s attempt to use Tesla’s dis­cov­er­ies to develop tec­tonic weapons and their pro­fessed belief that the Kobe earth­quake was caused by the United States. Secret war and changing relationships

In 1970 Zbigniew Brzezinski published a book titled Between Two Ages. Brzezinski is one of the founding directors of the Trilateral Commission. In this book he said, "Technology will make available, to the leaders of major nations, techniques for conducting secret warfare, of which only a bare minimum of the security forces need be appraised… Technology of weather modification could be employed to produce prolonged periods of drought or storm."[5] (Between Two Ages p 28. Footnote#2; quoted from "Gordon J. F. MacDonald, Space," in Toward the Year 2018, p. 34) [6]

As economic competition among many advanced nations heightens, it may be to a country’s advantage to ensure a peaceful natural environment for itself and a disturbed environment for its competitors. Operations producing such conditions might be carried out covertly, since nature’s great irregularity permits storms, floods, droughts, earthquakes and tidal waves to be viewed as unusual but not unexpected. Such a ‘secret war’ need never be declared or even known by the affected populations. It could go on for years with only the security forces involved being aware of it. The years of drought and storm would be attributed to unkindly nature and only after a nation were thoroughly drained would an armed take-over be attempted

  • Veteran weather modification expert Ben Livingston is a former Navy Physicist who briefed President Lyndon B. Johnson on the effectiveness of weather control back in the 1960′s during the Vietnam era, when he was involved in cloud seeding programs that worked to slow down the advance of Vietnamese and Korean troops. Livingston asserts that asserts that hurricane control was a national priority of the government more than 40 years ago and that the technology was fully operational to control the weather at the time. The main patent for this technology

Patent # 4,686,605 Method and apparatus for altering a region in the earth's atmosphere, ionosphere, and/or magnetosphere:
A method and apparatus for altering at least one selected region (atmosphere, ionosphere, and/or magnetosphere) which normally exists above the earth's surface. The region is excited by electron cyclotron resonance heating to thereby increase its charged particle density. In one embodiment, circularly polarized electromagnetic radiation is transmitted upward in a direction substantially parallel to and along a field line which extends through the region of plasma to be altered. The radiation is transmitted at a frequency which excites electron cyclotron resonance to heat and accelerate the charged particles. This increase in energy can cause ionization of neutral particles which are then absorbed as part of the region thereby increasing the charged particle density of the region. After the August 11, 1987 patent, two additional Eastlund patents, related to his invention and the subsequent HAARP project, were released: Patent number 4,712,155; Dec. 8, 1987 (coauthored with Simon Ramo) and U.S. Patent number 5,038,664; August 13, 1991. [13]

Scientific journals claim that HAARP is capable of causing artificial aurora borealis, it can also jam radar stations of early ballistic missile detection systems, communicate with submarines in the ocean and even detect secret underground complexes of the enemy (as well as natural ressources, this is known as earth tomography). Radio-frequency emission is capable of piercing through the ground and examine hideaways and tunnels, it can burn out electronics and destroy space satellites. The equipment can also impact the atmosphere and thus cause changes in weather. HAARP is allegedly used for causing natural disasters similar to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. [14]

  • The most powerful ionosphere heating ELF facilities (until HAARP is completed) were constructed by the Soviet Union at sites in Sura (Sura Ionospheric Heating Facility), Gorkiy, Monchegorsk, and Dushanbe (Tadzhikistan).
